About the project
We partnered with local bike rental company, BoltAbout, to increase their customer referrals. Our solution was to strengthen their Instagram presence to reach a wider audience. 
Over a two week period, we tracked the engagements of our social media marketing plan and tabling marketing strategy. We implemented a few types of content, then assessed and compared their reach with the audience.
We presented a graphic representing the results of our different engagements and followings. One day we set up a booth on Dexter lawn on campus, and the other day our booth was set up in the University Union.
In addition, we calculated hypothetical proportions of aggregated followers becoming new customers. Our goal was to increase sales by $1000. 
We also calculated what proportion of their original following were actual customers. We did so by dividing their past year's gross sales by the cost of leasing one bike, and came up with an estimate of 10.5% of followers being actual customers.
